The conference will be held at Stellenbosch University in the heart of the picturesque winelands town of Stellenbosch. This modern venue with its rich history and world class academic excellence, provides a superb setting conducive to intellectual and social exchanges. With beautiful surroundings, historic buildings, and world-class food, the organising committee is proud to welcome you to our home province and the makings of a conference that will be remembered for years to come.

Accommodation in Stellenbosch can be found to suit most tastes and budgets. As a premier tourist destination, the town is full of boutique hotels and cozy BnBs. The conference organisers have decided that delegates should have the freedom and flexibility in organising their own accommodation. Delegates should be aware that since the conference is being held during peak tourist season, it is advisable to book early to secure a place within walking distance of the conference venue (see map below).

The following list is made available for your convenience. Please note that the conference organisers have no commercial interest in any of these guest houses and cannot guarantee availability.

Stellenbosch university also has a number of residences and rooms available for hire for groups and individuals at R422.50 pppn (includes linen and breakfast)

Please note the following:

1. No towels are provided. Guests are requested to please bring their own towels.
2. Guests are requested to please also their own padlock/combination lock for the bedroom door, as no locks are provided
3. the University will only confirm which residence will be used for accommodation of visiting groups in December 2022. All of the university's residences are within walking distance of each other as well as from the Endler Conservatorium Hall where we will be hosting the plenary lectures as well as the additional venues which will be used for parallel sessions.
4. Reservations for hostel accommodation will close on 7 December 2022 and only bookings with full payment by 12 December 2022 will be confirmed. All unpaid accommodation will be released on 12 December 2022.
5. Whilst every care is given to provide a variety of dishes on the breakfast menu, please note that certain special dietary requirements may not always be accommodated.
