The 44^th SACI National Convention invites Masters, PhD students and postdoctoral fellows to apply for student bursaries for the conference in January 2023. Bursaries entail free registration for the conference.

A limited number of bursaries are available and will be awarded on merit based on the following criteria:

1. Applicants must be members of SACI when applying for the bursary.
2. Applicants should submit an abstract for either an oral or poster contribution at the National Convention.

Please apply by 30 September by sending an email to saci.chem@wits.ac.za with the subject "SACI44 bursary application" and attach the following documentation to the email (as a SINGLE pdf file in the following order):

1. A motivation letter from the applicant (please include SACI membership number)
2. A letter from the applicant’s supervisor supporting the application
3. Proof of abstract submission
4. Proof of registration

Please name the merged file as:

"Surname_FirstName_SACI44_BursaryApplication.pdf”

Note: Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
