Registration Opens 01 April 2025

The conference fees include a welcome pack, access to the conference venue and its facilities, the welcome reception, teas and lunches over the period of the conference, poster session and braai. Gala dinner, travel and transport is not included in the registration fee. For our industrial and educational colleagues, we have a special daily rate for Friday the 5^th of December at R1500. This includes teas and lunch, but none of the social events planned on the other days.

It is compulsory for student delegates to submit a confirmation letter from their supervisor on an institution letterhead confirming their permission to attend the SACI National Convention. If they do not attach a letter the registration form cannot be submitted and ask for them to attach a confirmation letter from their supervisor.

If you are not already a SACI member, please consider joining SACI to qualify for the conference discounted registration.

Excursions/Activities - Free Afternoon

Excursions/activities listed are not included in the registration fee. Please see here for information on activities that can be booked directly with the hotel.

For the excursions, you need to arrange your own transport.

Registration Cancellation Policy

You need to formally cancel your registration if you no longer wish to attend. All cancellations must be received in writing on or before 15 October 2025.

If no cancellation is received, you will be liable for the fees.

No refund of registration fees will be possible if cancellations are received after the above date.

Substitutions can be made at any time. Please advise us of substitutions in writing so we can correct name badges at the registration desk.

Non-compliance may result in removal from the conference without a refund.

Report any illegal or unsafe activities to conference organisers immediately.

3. Enforcement:

The conference organisers reserve the right to take appropriate action in response to violations, including warnings, expulsion from the conference, or involvement of law enforcement if necessary.

4. Inclusive and Respectful Behaviour:

Treat all participants with respect and consideration, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion, or any other protected characteristic.
Avoid offensive or inappropriate language and behaviour.

5. Harassment-Free Environment:

Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or visual harassment, will not be tolerated.
If you witness or experience harassment, please report it promptly to the conference organisers.

6. Diversity and Inclusivity:

Embrace diversity and foster an inclusive environment that welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and perspectives.
Be mindful of the diversity of opinions and experiences, promoting constructive and open discussions.

7. Professionalism:

Maintain a professional demeanour in all interactions, including sessions, networking events, and social activities.

9. Report Violations:

If you witness or experience any violations of this code of conduct, report them promptly to the conference organisers through the designated channels.
