Bothongo Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve 2 hr guided tour: R620 pp
Located in the heart of the Cradle of Humankind, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Bothongo Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve offers an unforgettable wildlife experience, where nature and conservation come together in one of the most historically significant areas on the planet. Home to over 600 animals and more than 30 species of game, including three of the Big Five – Kruger lions, white rhinos, and buffalo – the reserve offers guided open-vehicle game drives led by SATOUR-registered experts.
In addition to these iconic species, visitors can spot endangered animals such as the reintroduced wild dog, as well as cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles, and over 20 types of antelope. Birdwatchers will appreciate the vulture hide, offering opportunities to observe and photograph the rare Cape vulture. There are even occasional sightings of the elusive leopard in the area.

The experience continues with a deep dive into the diverse rock art traditions of southern Africa, showcasing these ancient masterpieces and their creators through contemporary art installations by prominent South African artists.






Apartheid Museum 2 hr guided tour: R275 pp
The Apartheid Museum is a museum complex located in Johannesburg, South Africa, dedicated to showcasing the rise and fall of apartheid, as well as the 20th-century history of the country. The design of the building was conceptualized by an architectural consortium made up of several prominent architectural firms, situated on a seven-hectare site. The museum serves as an exceptional example of design, space, and landscape, offering a unique South African experience to the global community.
The exhibits have been curated by a diverse team of curators, filmmakers, historians, and designers. They feature thought-provoking film footage, photographs, text panels, and artifacts that tell the stories and events of the harrowing apartheid era in South Africa.
