WITS RESIDENCE STUDENT ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation in the Wits student residences (single occupation) in Braamfontein, east campus can be booked via the booking form. Delegates will be hosted at the Jubilee Hall and/or Sunnyside residences.
Pricing:
Accommodation at the Wits student residences includes bed and breakfast at the rate of R650.00 per person per day.
Facilities:
Bedding will be provided, but towels and toiletries (such as soap and shampoo) will NOT be provided. The residences have shared bathroom and shower facilities.
Check-in and check-out times:
On the booking form, delegates can select which days/nights they wish to book. Residences are available for check-in from Sunday, 30 November 2025 (14h00) and check out on Friday, 5 December 2025 (10h00). Failure to check out in time and/or to return your keys will result in a fine.
Breakfast:
A sit-in breakfast will be served in the Student Dining Hall above the Matrix Centre daily, Monday to Friday, from 06h30-08h00. Latecomers will not be accommodated.

How to get to Braamfontein/Wits/Rosebank
E-hailing services at O.R. Tambo International Airport operate at the Central Pick-up and Drop-off area on Parkade 2, Level 2. Designated pick-up zones for e-hailing (Uber, Bolt), meter taxis, and shuttles there can be found on this level. For Uber and Bolt, you can request your ride on the app.
Train service also operates at OR Tambo Airport. The Gautrain Station is located on the International Departures level. You will purchase a ticket at the station.
Wits/Braamfontein by car
It takes 30-35 min from OR Tambo International Airport to Braamfontein/Wits.
Rosebank by car
It takes 35-40 min from OR Tambo International Airport to Rosebank.
